The BETAFPV Cetus X FPV Kit is an advanced, all-in-one starter bundle designed to take beginners from their first flight to intermediate freestyle. Unlike the smaller Cetus Pro, the Cetus X uses a 2S (double voltage) power system, giving it the "punch" needed for outdoor flying and more aggressive maneuvers.
2S Power Evolution: By using two BT2.0 450mAh 1S batteries in series, the Cetus X provides significantly more thrust than 1S whoops. This allows the drone to recover quickly from dives and maintain stability in light winds, bridging the gap between tiny whoops and 5-inch freestyle quads.
Dual FC Versions:
Betaflight Version: Uses the industry-standard firmware. It is "unlocked," allowing you to learn the software used by professional pilots.
Cetus FC Version: Includes an optical flow sensor and barometer for "Position Hold" and "Altitude Hold," making it much easier for absolute beginners to hover safely.
VR03 FPV Goggles: An upgrade over the older VR02, these goggles feature a high-brightness 4.3-inch screen and a built-in DVR. You can now record your analog FPV feed directly to a MicroSD card to share your progress or help locate your drone after a crash.
LiteRadio 3 Transmitter: This gamepad-style radio features a "Nano" module bay on the back, allowing you to upgrade to protocols like ExpressLRS (ELRS) or Crossfire later. It also acts as a USB joystick for FPV simulators on your PC.
Turtle Mode Support: If you crash and land upside down, you can use "Turtle Mode" from your radio to flip the drone over and take off again without walking to pick it up.

The Pilot's Reality Check:
Indoor vs. Outdoor: While the Cetus X can be flown indoors, its high power makes it much better suited for large indoor spaces (like gyms) or outdoors. For small apartments, the Cetus Pro or Meteor65 is generally easier to manage.
Flight Time: Expect roughly 5 minutes of flight time. Because it uses two batteries per flight, you will go through the included set quickly during a session.
