The Flywoo HEXplorer LR 4 4S Hexa-copter is a unique "Micro Long Range" drone designed in collaboration with Dave_C FPV. By using six motors instead of four, it achieves the disc area of a 5-inch drone on a 4-inch platform, allowing it to carry a full-sized GoPro with much better stability and less noise than a traditional 4-inch quad.
Six-Motor Advantage: The "Hex" design increases the total disc area, significantly reducing the "disc load." This makes the drone much quieter than a 4-inch quad when carrying heavy batteries or cameras and provides smoother, more "locked-in" handling during freestyle.
Full GoPro Capability: Unlike most sub-250g 4-inch quads that struggle with the weight of a full action camera, the HEXplorer is optimized for it. It can carry a GoPro Hero 10/11/12 while still maintaining impressive agility.
Premium GOKU Hex Stack: Powering the six motors is the GOKU F745 16x16 Nano Stack. It features an F7 processor, built-in barometer, blackbox logging, and 7 hardware serial ports, making it one of the most powerful stacks ever put in a micro drone.
Integrated Bluetooth: A built-in Flywoo Bt-nano Bluetooth module allows you to connect to the SpeedyBee app on your phone. You can tune your PIDs or change flight settings at the field without ever needing a laptop.
Safety & Recovery:
Goku M8N Mini GPS V2.0: Faster satellite acquisition and better interference shielding.
Flywoo Finder V1.0: An independent, self-powered buzzer that will beep and flash for up to 5 hours even if the main flight battery is ejected in a crash.
Digital HD Feed: Equipped with the Caddx Vista (or RunCam Link) system and Nebula Pro/Wasp camera, providing a 720p/120fps low-latency digital feed compatible with DJI FPV Goggles.

The Pilot's Reality Check:
Efficiency vs. Power: On a 4S 3000mAh Li-Ion pack, you can cruise for 25–30 minutes. However, the hexacopter configuration is slightly less efficient for pure cruising than a quadcopter; its true strength is the ability to carry a heavier camera while still being "Long Range."
Wind Resistance: Like all ultra-light 4-inch drones, it can be pushed around by strong gusts. The extra two motors help with stability, but it won't be as "heavy" in the air as a 7-inch long-range rig.
