The HEE Wing Ranger T-1 is a compact, 730mm wingspan dual-motor FPV plane that has become a favorite in the hobby for its portability and versatility. It is designed to be "the bridge" between quadcopters and fixed-wing flight, offering a quick-disassembly design that lets you snap the wings on or off in seconds without tools.

Quick Disassembly Design: The main wings and tail boom use a specialized quick-release connector system. You can assemble or disassemble the entire aircraft in under a minute, making it easy to fit into a standard backpack.
Dual Motor Power: Unlike single-motor planes that can struggle with torque-roll during launch, the T-1's counter-rotating twin motors provide a very stable, linear climb. It has a thrust-to-weight ratio of up to 1.71, allowing for vertical-style hand launches.
Large Internal Volume: The fuselage features front and rear hatches, providing easy access to a 245mm long cabin. This space is large enough to fit 4S 18650 Li-Ion packs for flight times exceeding 60 minutes.

Is it better to get the Gray or White version?
Originally, the gray foam was denser and tougher than the white. However, in the 2023/2024 updates, HEE Wing upgraded the white foam to the same high-density specification as the gray. Now, the choice is purely aesthetic, though many pilots prefer gray as it hides grass stains better.
Can it fly VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing)?
There are two distinct versions: the Standard Twin-Motor and the VTOL version. The Standard version requires a hand-launch or landing on wheels. The VTOL version includes a tilting motor mechanism and a pre-configured flight controller that allows it to take off like a drone and transition into a plane.
What is the best battery for long-range?
While it flies well on a 3S 2200mAh LiPo for 15 minutes, the Ranger T-1 is legendary for its efficiency on Li-ion packs. A 4S 18650 3000mAh–3500mAh pack can easily push flight times past 45–60 minutes of relaxed cruising.
Does it have enough room for digital FPV?
Yes. The fuselage is surprisingly spacious. It has a dedicated nose mount for FPV cameras (including the DJI O3, Walksnail, or Analog) and enough internal volume to house a full-sized air unit and a flight controller like the Matek F405-Wing or SpeedyBee F405 Wing.
How fast can it go?
Despite its small size, the aerodynamic design allows it to reach speeds over 120 km/h. Conversely, its high-lift wing profile allows it to stay airborne at speeds as low as 20 km/h, making it very forgiving for landings.
