The DJI Goggles 3 redefines the FPV experience with ultra-high-definition Micro-OLED displays and the revolutionary Real View PiP. Featuring the low-latency O4 Video Transmission, integrated battery, and one-tap defogging, it offers the most comfortable and technologically advanced "cockpit" view for both professional cinewhoop pilots and hobbyists.

Product Description

The DJI Goggles 3 is the current gold standard for immersive flight, designed to pair perfectly with the O4 transmission system found in the Avata 2, Air 3S, and the latest O4 Air Units. The "killer feature" here is the Real View PiP (Picture-in-Picture), which solves the biggest safety headache in FPV: being blind to your surroundings.

  • Real View PiP (Picture-in-Picture): For the first time, you don't have to take your goggles off to see where you are. A simple double-tap on the side activates the front-facing cameras, showing you a live view of your surroundings in a small window (PiP) without interrupting your flight feed.

  • Micro-OLED Display Tech: The goggles feature dual 1080p Micro-OLED screens with a refresh rate of up to 100Hz. With a peak brightness of 700 nits and TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification, you get vivid colors and deep blacks that reduce eye strain during long sessions.

  • O4 Digital Transmission: Built for the O4 ecosystem, these goggles provide a rock-solid 1080p/100fps feed with latency as low as 24ms. The improved anti-interference capabilities ensure a stable image even when flying in complex environments with high signal noise.

  • Integrated Battery & Comfort: No more dangling cables or battery packs in your pocket. The battery is built directly into the headband, which also acts as a counterweight, making the goggles feel significantly lighter and better balanced on your face.

The Pilot's Reality Check:

  • The "Fogging" Solution: If you live in a humid climate, you will love the built-in fan and one-tap defogging function. It clears the lenses almost instantly.

  • Goggles 2 vs. Goggles 3: While the screens are similar to the Goggles 2, the Goggles 3 are strictly optimized for the O4 system. If you primarily fly older O3 Air Units, make sure to check firmware compatibility, as the O4 transmission is where these goggles truly shine.

🤔 Frequently Asked Questions
  • What is the "Real View" feature everyone is talking about?

The Goggles 3 have two small cameras on the front. By double-tapping the side of the goggles, the screens switch to a "pass-through" view of the real world. There is also a PiP (Picture-in-Picture) mode where you can see your drone’s live feed in a small window while looking at your surroundings. It’s incredibly "asjalik" for taking off, landing, or checking your phone without taking the goggles off.

  • I wear glasses—do I need to wear them inside the goggles?

Probably not. These goggles have built-in diopter adjustment knobs on the bottom that cover a range from -6.0 D to +2.0 D. You can adjust each eye independently while wearing them. However, they do not support astigmatism correction out of the box; for that, you’ll need to use the included corrective lens frames to have custom lenses made at an optician.

  • Is the built-in battery a good thing or a bad thing?

It’s a trade-off. The battery is now built into the back of the headband, which acts as a counterweight, making the goggles feel much lighter on your face. You get about 3 hours of runtime. The downside is that you can't just swap in a fresh battery pack; however, you can charge them while flying via a power bank and a USB-C cable if you’re in a pinch.

  • Can I use these with my older DJI O3 or analog drones?

It's complicated. As of the latest firmware updates in 2025/2026, the Goggles 3 are compatible with the O3 Air Unit, but they were primarily designed for the O4 system (found in the Avata 2 and the newer Air Units you've been looking at). They do not support analog video at all—there is no module bay or AV-in port.

  • How do I share the video feed so my friends can watch?

Since there is no HDMI-out port, the most common way is via the DJI Fly app. You can connect the goggles to your phone via Wi-Fi or a USB-C cable, and the app will display a smooth live feed. If you have a DJI RC Pro controller, you can also link that as a "bridge" to output the signal to a larger TV or monitor via HDMI.
