The Cinelog30 V3 O4 Pro is a refined 3-inch cinewhoop that bridges the gap between ultra-light micros and heavy 5-inch rigs. Equipped with the DJI O4 Pro and a reinforced V3 frame, it offers professional-grade 4K video, improved crash durability, and the thrust required for stable outdoor cinematic cruising.

Product Description

The GEPRC Cinelog30 V3 O4 Pro is the high-performance 3-inch evolution of the fan-favorite Cinelog series. It’s designed specifically to balance the weight of the DJI O4 Pro while maintaining enough punch to carry an additional naked action camera if needed.

  • Reinforced V3 Frame Architecture: The GEP-CL30 V3 frame features a 2.5mm carbon fiber plate and an aluminum-reinforced wrap-around structure. This protects your internal electronics from lateral impacts and ensures the frame remains rigid during high-speed maneuvers.

  • Integrated 6-in-1 Expansion Board: GEPRC has moved the receiver, buzzer, LED controller, and XT30 connector onto a custom PDB. This eliminates messy wiring, reduces weight, and provides a much cleaner build that is easier to maintain.

  • Jello-Free Soft Mounting: The DJI O4 Pro camera is suspended on four silicone vibration dampers. This "underslung" gimbal mount effectively isolates motor noise, giving you smooth footage that’s ready for Gyroflow or direct use without an external GoPro.

  • Built-in LED Safety: The injection-molded propeller guards now feature a built-in LED strip. Not only does this look great for low-light shots, but it also improves visibility for the pilot and bystanders during indoor sessions.

Technical Specifications:

  • Frame: GEP-CL30 V3 (Wheelbase: 128mm)

  • FC System: TAKER F722 45A 32Bit AIO

  • MCU: STM32F722RET6

  • Gyro: ICM 42688-P (Optimized for O4)

  • VTX & Camera: DJI O4 Air Unit Pro

  • Motors: SPEEDX2 1404 3850KV

  • Propellers: HQProp DT76mm x3 V2

  • Receiver: ELRS 2.4G / TBS NanoRX / PNP (DJI)

  • Battery Connector: XT30

  • Dry Weight: ~187g (varies by RX)

  • Recommended Battery: LiHV 4S 660mAh - 850mAh

  • Flight Time: ~7:30 - 8:10 minutes (with 850mAh)

The Pilot's Reality Check:

  • The "Maintenance" Trade-off: While the 6-in-1 expansion board makes the build clean, it means if the buzzer or LED controller fails, you're looking at a board-level fix or replacement. Keep the data port dust-plugs in place to prevent debris from causing shorts.

  • Outdoor Capability: Unlike 2-inch whoops, the Cinelog30 V3 handles moderate wind quite well. It’s a great choice for vacation footage where you might encounter sea breezes or light mountain winds.

🤔 Frequently Asked Questions
  • Is this drone suitable for indoor flying, or is it too powerful?

It’s a bit of a hybrid. While it’s technically a "Cinewhoop" with protected props, the 3-inch size and 1404 motors make it quite punchy. It’s perfect for large indoor spaces like warehouses or gyms, but if you’re planning to fly through a tight apartment, it might feel a bit "big" compared to a 2-inch drone. It’s best used for cinematic "flow" shots rather than slow, technical indoor maneuvering.

  • Can I use a standard 4S LiPo, or do I need the LiHV ones recommended?

You can use standard 4S LiPos (around 650mAh to 850mAh), but the recommended LiHV (High Voltage) packs give you that extra bit of "oomph" and slightly longer flight times. If you use a standard LiPo, expect the low-battery warning to kick in a bit earlier. Just make sure the battery weighs under 60g if you’re trying to stay under the 250g weight limit for regulations.

  • I’ve heard the O4 camera mounting can be a bit finicky—any tips?

The O4 camera uses silicone dampeners to kill "jello" in your video. They work great, but they can pop out during a hard landing or a "slap" against a wall. Always check the camera mount after a tumble. If you lose one of those silicone balls, it’s a pain to put back in, so keep the provided damping tool in your field kit.

  • Does it come with a GPS for "Return to Home" functionality?

No, it doesn't have GPS out of the box. GEPRC designed this for short-range cinematic work where GPS isn't usually needed. If you plan to fly it long-range or in spots where you might lose signal, you’ll need to solder on a small GPS module (like the M10) yourself.

  • How difficult is it to change the propellers?

It’s not hard, but it is time-consuming. Because of the "pusher" design and the protective frame, you have to reach through the guards to get to the motor screws. It’s a good idea to use a magnetic hex driver so you don’t drop those tiny M2 screws into the grass or onto your carpet where they disappear forever.
