Jello-Free "O4 Bracket II": The standout feature of the V2 is the new O4 Bracket II. It uses four soft-mounted shock-absorbing balls to isolate the camera from motor vibrations. The Pilot's Reality Check:

O4 Lite vs. Pro: If you want the best flight feel, go with the O4 Lite. The added weight of the Pro version makes the Pico II feel "tanky" and less responsive. Save the Pro unit for larger frames like the Pavo20 Pro unless you absolutely need the improved low-light performance.
Battery Size: The battery slot is rigid (16x12.7mm). While it fits BetaFPV LAVA 450/550mAh packs perfectly, some other brands may require a strap or slight tray modification to fit.

🤔 Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Pico II still suffer from the "jello" video issues the original model had?
That was the #1 goal for the V2. BetaFPV redesigned the camera mount into the "O4 Bracket II," which uses a new four-point silicone ball damping system. It’s significantly more rigid and does a much better job of isolating the camera from motor vibrations. As long as your propellers aren't badly chipped, your footage should be crystal clear without that annoying high-frequency shaking.
I have the DJI O4 Pro Air Unit. Does it fit in this tiny frame?
Yes! The Pavo Pico II was specifically engineered to be the smallest platform that can carry both the standard DJI O4 and the larger O4 Pro. The carbon fiber baseplate has dual mounting patterns. Just keep in mind that the "Pro" unit is heavier, so the drone will feel a bit more like a "tank" in the air and your flight times will drop by about 45–60 seconds compared to the standard O4.
The battery slot looks really tight. Can I use my existing 2S batteries?
The molded battery cage is designed specifically for BetaFPV LAVA 2S (450mAh or 550mAh) batteries. If your existing batteries are wider than 16mm or taller than 12.7mm, they won't slide in. Pilot hack: If you want to use different brands, many pilots snip off the bottom of the plastic battery cage and use a small rubberized strap instead—this opens up compatibility to almost any 2S brand like Tattu or GNB.
Can I fly this indoors, or is it too powerful for a living room?
It’s actually one of the best "big house" indoor flyers. Because it’s an 80mm whoop with protected props, it’s safe to bump into walls. However, because it uses 1102 14000KV motors, it has a lot more "drift" than a tiny 65mm drone. It’s perfect for real estate fly-throughs, but if you’re in a tiny apartment, you’ll want to set a Throttle Limit (around 60-70%) in Betaflight to keep it manageable.
How do I change settings if there's no USB port on the side?
To save weight, the USB-C port is tucked away on the AIO flight controller, usually accessible from the bottom or side through the ducts. If you’re having trouble reaching it with a thick cable, the kit usually includes a 90-degree USB adapter. Pro tip: You can also do most of your PID and VTX tuning through the Betaflight OSD (On-Screen Display) using your transmitter sticks while looking through your goggles!
